Connect HubSpot
Connect HubSpot to use CRM data in Encelade charts and statistics.
Connect your HubSpot account to use CRM data in your presentations. The basic connector reads contacts, companies, deals, and deal properties. It does not create or change records in HubSpot.
Before you connect
You need an Encelade account and access to the HubSpot account you want to connect. Use a HubSpot user who has permission to install apps and grant the permissions shown during authorization. If you cannot grant them, ask your HubSpot administrator to help.
Connect your account
- In Encelade, open Settings → Connectors.
- Find HubSpot and select Connect.
- Sign in to HubSpot if prompted, then choose the account that contains your CRM data.
- Review the requested permissions and authorize the connection.
- After returning to Encelade, check that the account appears in your active connections.
When configuring a chart or statistic that supports HubSpot, choose HubSpot as its data source, select the connected account, and configure the metric and filters.
Permissions and data access
Encelade requests OAuth access and read permissions for contacts, companies, deals, and deal-property definitions. These permissions let Encelade query CRM data and interpret deal fields for charts and statistics.
The basic connection does not request permission to write CRM records or publish timeline events. You can separately enable deal write-back from a presentation's share panel.
Link a presentation to a deal
Deal linking requires Pro or above.
- Open your presentation's Share panel and find HubSpot deal.
- Select Connect HubSpot or Reconnect HubSpot to authorize deal updates and creation of Encelade's deal properties.
- After returning to the presentation, select the HubSpot account and search for a deal.
- Choose the deal to link it.
Encelade syncs the presentation URL, engagement totals, and proposal status into the deal's Encelade properties. Timeline cards require a separately configured HubSpot capability. Calculator inputs and results stay in Encelade.
Select Unlink to stop future writes for that presentation.

Disconnect
Open Settings → Connectors, find the HubSpot connection in your active connections, and use its removal action. Confirm the removal when prompted. You can also manage Encelade's app access from your HubSpot account's connected-app settings.
Disconnecting does not delete CRM records in HubSpot. If you need help removing data already used in a presentation, contact support.
Troubleshooting
The account is not eligible to install Encelade
This message can indicate an app-distribution restriction, even when you are a HubSpot administrator. Contact Encelade support with your HubSpot account ID and a screenshot of the message. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or secret keys.
HubSpot reports a permissions or scope error
Start a new connection from Encelade's Connectors settings instead of reusing an old authorization link. If the error remains, send support the error text and your HubSpot account ID. An administrator cannot fix a mismatch in Encelade's registered app permissions; the Encelade team must resolve it.
CRM sync asks me to reconnect
Use Reconnect HubSpot in the presentation's share panel and authorize the additional deal-write permissions. Connecting again from Settings only requests read access. Use the HubSpot account that owns the linked deal. If a colleague connected it, ask them to reconnect their account.
